The month of April, went by in a Jiffy.
I started this blog taking the #AtoZChallenge, with the theme ‘Brands that people identify with’. The challenge gave me the much needed push to start my 2nd blog after Scribble and Scrawl. I thoroughly enjoyed the mental acrobatics involved, and in the process I have zeroed in on the niche for this blog.
Why I picked Brand Stories
Whether we realize or not, brands are an integral part of our lifestyle and they do impact us.
Much like how you relate to some people better than the others, you relate to some brands in a positive manner because they strike an emotional chord with you in one of the following ways.
- The brands echo the values that you appreciate and care for.
- You have some good memories associated with the brands.
- The brands represent all that you aspire for.
When we relate to something, we like to know more about it – be it a person or a brand.
Just like it is natural for us to be inclined to know about what’s going on in the lives of people who we relate well with, I believe that in the same way, many of us will be interested in hearing (well reading) the stories of the brands that we connect with, particularly when those are convincing, inspiring, and interesting.
This belief led me to pick up the theme ‘Brands that people identify with’’.

Here I present the list of all brand stories that I wrote for the challenge.
I selected a medley of brands. Most of them are among the Top Global brands, some of them like Coke, Kellogg’s , Pepsi have been around for more than a century, while some that are the internet age brands have quickly spread around and consolidated their position in over a decade.
