Our search for purpose
In our lives, we all need something to look forward to, something that makes us feel more alive and vibrant.
So begins our search for purpose!
Purpose, is the elusive bird that often evades us, but when we find it, our purpose gives us a good reason to live for. Only for a few, the purpose comes clear early in life, while any many of us spend ages without knowing what our purpose is, and take life as it comes.
Some find purpose in their creative pursuits, some find it in love, in their family, children and some find purpose in work.

Purpose affects motivation
In our work lives too, the perceived meaning of work increases our motivation levels for doing the work. When people can relate their work to some higher objectives, the amount of satisfaction derived from doing the work increases, which in turn increases the motivation for doing the work.

Purpose need not always be big, it could be something as simple as doing something on an ongoing that nourishes your soul, makes you feel alive.
